RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with business leaders to support business unit objectives and provide HR solutions that align with company and business unit strategy
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that drive employee engagement, talent retention, and performance
  • Work closely with the Corporate HR team to ensure effective onboarding & offboarding of employees as well as implement compensation, benefits, and training programs that align with business unit needs
  • Partner with Corporate HR team on all Timekeeping & Payroll processing activities
  • Manage the Career & Organizational Development processes for the business units assigned.  The processes include performance reviews, workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and career development programs
  • Collaborate with leaders to foster a high-performance culture through leadership development and coaching
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-based decision-making
  • Support change management initiatives and help lead organizational transformations
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure acquisition of top talent and execute talent acquisition strategies to build a robust pipeline of talent
  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
  • Prepare and distribute internal and corporate reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 4-6 years of human resource experience required with at least 2 years as a Business Partner
  • Proven experience in coaching and advising senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve non-standard situations with many variables
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and federal/state employment laws
  • Demonstrated leadership skills while having the ability to be a team player
  • Must have U.S. Protected Individual status

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

  • Familiarity with working in an ITAR environment
  • Experience working in a matrix organization

TRAVEL: Occasional travel outside the local area
