POSITION PROFILE:

 

The Business Development Director, Onboard and Testing  will be responsible for leading the execution of our On-Board & Testing sales strategy for customers across the United States and Canada, growing the current footprint, and building a robust pipeline two to three years ahead.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the execution of our On-Board & Testing sales strategy for customers across the United States and Canada
  • Growing the current footprint, and building a robust pipeline two to three years ahead.
  • Develop CRM database and log opportunities to estimate sales pipeline and adjust order forecast shared with management

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

 

  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Management or STEM discipline.

 

  • Technical background in data acquisition and testing product line
  • In-depth understanding of USG Acquisition processes in order to make the customer interaction impactful and facilitate customer familiarity and confidence
  • 7-10 years direct government sales, sales to prime contractors, and/or aerospace industry
  • 5+ years of DoD Acquisition experience through large captures of programs across multiple DoD     entities
  • 5+ years of managing $50-100M opportunities pipeline with minimum 35% close out rate/annum

 

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

  • Familiarity with working in an ITAR environment
  • Proven ability to lead proposal response, ENs and BAFO responses
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and testing systems is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to present data in front of customer and C Suite level
  • Ability to make post visit reports and share main take-aways and customer feedback to help engineering product line team schedule and improve the product road map
  • Experience with CRM tools to log opportunities to estimate sales pipeline and adjust order forecast shared with management
  • Ability to work with partners, consultants, and representatives to facilitate customer access
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to work in a highly complex and matrixed organization

 

TRAVEL: up to 50% domestic and international
