POSITION PROFILE:
The Business Analyst will partner with stakeholders from all business units to support daily business operations. The role will be responsible for defining and documenting business processes and software requirements for system solutions. The Business Analyst works on cross-functional projects and forms the link between departments and the Company’s Enterprise Solutions team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, configure and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists and pages to support daily business operations across all business units
- Develop and manage SharePoint workflows and automation using Power Automate, and build forms and low-code applications using Power Apps to streamline manual processes
- Administer SharePoint site permissions, security groups and authorization models, ensuring appropriate access controls and governance
- Design and implement SharePoint information architecture, including content types, metadata, document management and version control standards
- Collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business and system requirements for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, and support user testing to achieve business goals
- Develop, manage and collaborate on standard practices and processes for SharePoint site provisioning, lifecycle management and content governance
- Identify technology opportunities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem that impact corporate business strategies and performance
- Leverage technology to reduce manual tasks and continually improve the company's requirements and workflow processes
- Provide support, feedback and requirements analysis for the company's ERP systems, working to understand, develop and document ERP business processes and solutions as a secondary function
- Analyze and document business and system process flow diagrams for both SharePoint and ERP solutions
- Create SDLC artifacts, including business and functional requirement documents
- Manage functional and user acceptance testing
- Assist in the development and delivery of end user training
- Support the release of business applications and triage/resolve user issues
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 5 years Business Systems experience; Microsoft Sharepoint development experience ( site setup, authorization, workflows, forms )
- Ability to use readily available AI tools to solve problems/generate code
- Exceptional computer skills, as well as technical knowledge of MS Office products and Windows
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, take initiative, follow up independently and as a team with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to run meetings effectively and efficiently
- Uses knowledge and resources to make informed decisions
- Willingness to actively participate in training end users of software solutions
- Must have U.S. Protected Individual status
IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:
- Familiarity with working in an ITAR environment
- Experience working in a matrix organization
TRAVEL: Up to 10% travel
SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$125,000 annual salary, plus participation in individual performance bonus plan.
