POSITION PROFILE:

The Warehouse Associate’s primary responsibilities will be to support the Supply Chain Operations to include the stockroom receiving and shipping functions. Secondary responsibility will be to support the outfitting, kitting, and inventory control functions of the warehouse as required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule, Monitor and control daily shipping and receiving workflow as directed by Supervision
  • Ensures Exports are processed per Export Control Processes and Licenses as directed by Supervision
  • Assist with the receiving, staging and shipping processes in accordance with Warehouse policies/procedures
  • Inspect incoming materials to Quality Control Procedures
  • Maintain records as required.
  • Maintain a high level of service in the warehouse
  • Maintain warehouse security and safety
  • Assist delivery companies to coordinate services
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist warehouse associates to accomplish the day-to-day duties and responsibilities for the stockroom.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High School education with relevant job experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving function as a warehouse associate in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Stockroom experience a plus.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistic concepts
  • Familiar with ERP systems; preferably SAP
  • Ability to interface professionally with internal and external personnel
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • This position may have requirements for occasional after-hours and weekend support
  • Experience and knowledge base with SAP is desired
  • Must have U.S. Protected Individual status
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs including MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
  • Proficient in an ERP system.
