POSITION PROFILE:

At Safran DSI, our Internship Program is designed to immerse students in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that balances real-world business challenges with opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Graphic Design Intern will report to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Lead Graphic Designer to help our team increase brand awareness and support business development initiatives, both internally and globally.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft and edit compelling content for social media, newsletters, and advertising
  • Support the Marketing Communications department with projects and objectives
  • Design tradeshow assets and miscellaneous marketing collateral
  • Internal and external graphic design and video production

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Must be an undergrad Junior or Senior actively working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, or a first or second year Graduate student actively pursuing a Master’s Degree in: Graphic Design, Media Arts or Digital Media
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Proficient in the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and editing skills
  • Understanding of social media platforms
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of the team
  • Prior experience in an office setting
  • Ability to function professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Photography and/or Videography
  • Must be a US Citizen or hold US Protected Individual status

 

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

  • Ability to work 2025 Spring Semester part-time or full-time during the school semester, then full-time during the summer
  • Experience working in an ITAR environment
