POSITION PROFILE:

Safran Defense & Space Inc is seeking a qualified intern to participate in our paid summer internship program within the Enterprise Systems Department. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a type of software used by organizations to manage and integrate key parts of their business. SAP, a leading ERP software, helps businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and make data-driven decisions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with SAP, one of the most widely used ERP systems in the world. You’ll learn how technology drives business success while contributing to impactful projects that improve efficiency and decision-making.

 

RESPONCIBILITIES:

  • Assist with configuring and maintaining SAP ERP modules to support various business functions such as finance, procurement, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems team to identify areas for process improvement and help design innovative solutions
  • Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and assist in troubleshooting system issues
  • Contribute to data migration, testing, and validation efforts during ERP system updates or implementations
  • Support the documentation of workflows, processes, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity
  • Gain exposure to project management methodologies and participate in team meetings to understand how ERP systems align with broader business objectives

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Must be actively working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management information systems (MIS) or computer science GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of the team
  • Ability to function professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Internship programs typically run from mid-May to early August
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance
  • U.S. Citizenship or Protected Individual status required
